Our story began in 1938 in the small town of Malesherbes, one hour South of Paris and 30 minutes from Fontainebleau: that of a family hotel restaurant, the Ecu de France - Malesherbes.

Four generations of hoteliers have succeeded one another here, in this charming coaching inn dating from the early 17th century that has become a boutique hotel, for the pleasure of welcoming you.

Our chef "Maître restaurateur" is part of a gourmet and authentic culinary tradition, working from fine produce that he carefully selects for their freshness and quality.

When the walls of the Malesherbes post house were erected, to ensure the delivery of the royal mail and the reception of travelers.
